Nova had a Leprechaun!

In 1985 we played the Number 1 seed in our bracket Michigan on St Patrick’s Day. Our Trainer and Good Luck Charm Jake Nevin was carrying around a plastic Leprechaun hat, Coach Mass say “Jake, what are you doing with that hat ?” Jake says when I think we’re gonna win the game I’m gonna put it on to celebrate. Coach says don’t you dare Jake ! Well that’s all he had to say. So with like 2 and change on the clock Jake puts the hat on and CBS mentions it and shows him several times . That’s when we knew that we had a real shot to win the whole thing . We had a Real Live Leprechaun on our bench and nobody else did! 😂😂🍀🍀
